Glen Cambell – Wichita Linman
£60.00
An original painting of Glen Campbell’s Wichita Lineman Album. from 1969.
Wichita Lineman is one of the all time great songs. I sing it to my wife sometimes until I’m drowned out by her laughing. The rest of the songs on the album are pretty standard really. ‘The Straight Life’ on side two is worth a listen. Glen dreams of leaving the straight life behind. Serving corn on the cob to ladies so he says. Indeed.
Painted on top of a page of The New Yorker magazine and mounted on cartridge paper.
16.5 cm x 16.5 cm
I’m selling these paintings as part of the Artists Support Pledge.
Every time 5 are sold I will buy one from another artist.
It creates a self feeling micro economy for artists.
